The 5-layer FFP mask consists of two layers of fabric that can physically filter more than 95% of particles, one layer of cotton that can filter PM2.5, and an outer layer of non-woven fabric to block large particles. The inner layer absorbs moisture from breaths. It is designed to provide greater respiratory protection than a standard disposable three-layer mask.
